Converting .prompt
to code
Every .prompt
file can be easily converted into your programming language of choice. Just run the Promptfile: transpile to another language
command from VS Code and select your preferred language.
We currently support the following languages:
TypeScript
Typescript (TS) is a strict syntactical superset of JavaScript and adds optional static typing to the language. It is designed for the development of large applications and transpiles to JavaScript.
JavaScript
JavaScript (JS) is a lightweight, interpreted, or just-in-time compiled programming language with first-class functions.
Python
Python is a high-level, general-purpose programming language. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability with the use of significant indentation.
Ruby
Ruby is an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language designed with an emphasis on programming productivity and simplicity.
We believe that all transpiled .prompt
files should be 100% idiomatic to the language you choose and require no dependencies.
